Rea (Ray) Edmond Andruss

Ray, Ralph and Russell all left home in 1907 and went by train to Oklahoma City where Ray worked at a newsstand. Ray later went to Yellowstone where he drove a stage six years before autos were allowed. He also worked in the railroad shops in Las Vegas for a while.

He went to Jean, NV and worked in a store for seven years. After that, he joined his brothers in California and developed a successful real estate brokerage in the Los Angeles area and lived in El Monte, CA.

In later years Ray developed cancer of the voicebox.
