George Adolphus Andruss was born in 1860, Centerview MO. When Anna Belle McKee moved
to Missouri with her parents in 1882 their farms were close. Anna Belle taught school
in Centerview until they married in 1889. They moved to Allen Co. KS in 1895.
George's farm had a little three-room house, snug, with thick walls before they built their large house. When they tore the little house down they discovered the walls were filled with river rock. The farm also had a large 4-5 acre orchard. As I remember, Grandpa George had red hair and blue eyes. He was tall and lean, about 6'3" or so.
