Addie was born June 27, 1839 at Russellville TN. In 1856, age 16 1/2, she wrote
a letter to her brother telling him that she loved Jake Young and wanted to run off
and get married and come to his house. This evidently did not occur because the
letter was found in her father's things, and she died the next year in New Market
TN and is buried under her maiden name. She could have been living with her brother
or attending school in the New Market Academy.
