George Alexander Andruss

George Alexander Andruss was the only son of George Adolphus Andruss. He used to sing beautifully as a teenager but had no formal training. He dropped out of highschool to help his father on the farm.

George had dark hair and blue eyes. He grew to be 6'4" or so and was well built. He had a delightful sense of humor.

His family found out he was color-blind when they sent him out to pick tomatoes. He came back with more green ones than red, and he couldn't tell the difference!

George was a farmer and also worked in a feed Co-op elevator. Then he worked for his brother-in-law, Milton Nelson, building roads and dams.

He died of cancer.
